Upon marriage, I unraveled the roots of my own family lineage and started research on Jomon, an ancient Japanese culture remains and artifacts from then.

speculating on the lifestyle, beliefs, and views on life and death of people at that time, I depicted them through the imperfect translation machine known as a modern human, I. 

I expressed the idea of being buried in history and no longer having anyone who knows its true meaning with vividly colored yarn and over 600 layers of paint covering it.
